How to make a factory reset on a Nexus device? is easy! But before I will tell you what is a  Hard reset in fastboot.

What is a Hard reset in Fastboot?

* Recovery is an independent execution environment of the Android OS, situated in another partition the internal memory. This separation allows it to be accessed even when the main system is damaged (brick), offering the user a set of tools to repair the device. For this reason, a "base" version of this mode is present on any Android device.

The Bootloader will determine when running Android or Recovery, but we can step in and force the Recovery mode startup whenever the bootloader is not locked.

Today I bring to you a video with tips where you will learn how to do a hard reset in Fastboot mode and you see it in the video below.

Your device doesn't turn on or charge? What to do?

Well come on! If your device did not connect or it connects but disconnects immediately:

  1. Make sure there isn’t any dust or lint in the power port.
  2. Using the original power adapter and USB cable, plug your phone or tablet into a functioning power outlet. Your Nexus device has specific power requirements, and the USB cable and power adapter that are included are designed to meet those requirements.
  3. Ensure the power cord is securely connected to the device and the power adapter.
  4. After 1 minute, check to see if a battery icon appears on the screen.
  5. If the battery icon appears, press & hold the Power button for 15 to 30 seconds to see if the device turns on.
  6. If the battery icon doesn't appear, try accessing the Android bootloader menu:
    1. Press & hold the Volume down button for Nexus 4 and Nexus 7, or Volume down and Volume up for Nexus 5 and Nexus 10. While holding the Volume button(s), press & hold the Power button for at least 10 seconds until you see an Android robot and the word Start on the screen.
    2. Press the Volume down button until Power off is highlighted. Press the Power button to select that option.
    3. Disconnect the charger and reconnect it within 10 seconds. A battery icon should appear on your screen.
Once the battery icon appears on the screen, allow your tablet to charge for at least 1 hour before turning it back on.
If you have made these procedures and even then he does not care or carries, the most recommended case is still under warranty, you request a replacement of the device.
Thank you!
